Volleyball Recap: Newton Falls' Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Southeast on Wednesday, Newton Falls came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Crestview Rebels on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-4.

Crestview was led to victory by Kerrigan Miller and Addison Wendell. Miller had 15 digs, while Wendell had four aces and one assist.

Having lost for the first time this season, Newton Falls fell to 2-1. As for Crestview, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newton Falls will face off against Waterloo at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Crestview, they will square off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
