Marshfield entered their tilt with Aquinas on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Blugolds by a score of 2-0.

Marshfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paige Schlagenhaft, who had 15 assists. Schlagenhaft has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played. Lily Adler also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Marshfield now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Aquinas, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will venture away from home to square off against Wausau East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Aquinas, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Holmen on the 2nd.
