The biggest upset of the week belonged to Licking Valley, who took down 85th ranked Licking Heights, 33-14.
The Panthers scaled the state rankings by moving to 86 from 143 this week, the biggest jump in Licking County - Big. Licking Valley climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Hornets 33-14.
Watkins Memorial's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ben Shroyer threw for 136 and 1 touchdown and Hunter Holton had 85 yards receiving. On the ground Shroyer contributed 109 yards. Travis Hall helped Watkins Memorial's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 39 yards.
Shroyer put up the best numbers through the air as the Warriors beat Heath. Shroyer's favorite target this week was Holton, who caught 3 passes for 85 yards.
Watkins Memorial's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Shroyer has thrown for 819 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Holton has 35 catches for 460 yards.
Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when Watkins Memorial takes on Licking Heights. Jeff Severino's team's offense has racked up 236 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Hornets have allowed only 96 on the year.
At the moment, the Panthers are in first, while Lakewood is in fifth.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Licking Valley beat Licking Heights 33-14. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
