Recap: Brattleboro Bears vs. Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave
The Brattleboro Bears can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 56-45 victory over Mt. St. Joseph Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brattleboro also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Brattleboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Satterfield, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Johnathon Haskins, who scored 11 points.
Brattleboro's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brattleboro will face off against Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartford is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Burr & Burton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
