Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Fremd couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Kenwood Broncos on Saturday, falling 65-44. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Kenwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Danielle Brooks, who shot 47% from the field on her way to 24 points and three steals. That's the most points Brooks has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was London Walker George, who went 8-for-18 to rack up 19 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Fremd's loss dropped their record down to 30-6. As for Kenwood, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 35-3.

As of now, neither Fremd nor Kenwood have any future games scheduled.
