Avalon waltzed into their contest on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They secured a 60-54 W over the Milford Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-46 back in December of 2024.

Avalon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roman Palacios, who went 9 of 12 on his way to 18 points. The dominant performance gave Palacios a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kade Johnson, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, nine rebounds, and ten assists.

Avalon was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Avalon pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Milford, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
