Basketball Recap: North Dallas Takes a Loss

After soaring to 55 points the game before, North Dallas was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt an 81-16 defeat at the hands of the Carter Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 756th, while the Cowboys are ranked 95th).

North Dallas has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. As for Carter, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 26-6.

Looking ahead, North Dallas will head out on the road to challenge Pinkston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Carter has won seven straight at home, while Kimball won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
