Softball Recap: Eagle Pass Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eagle Pass had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Alexander Bulldogs as they made off with a 12-6 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Eagle Pass' win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Alexander, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-10.

Eagle Pass and Alexander should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles will challenge United at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (45 vs. 605). Meanwhile, Alexander (ranked 365th) will meet Laredo LBJ (ranked 760th) at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
