The Black Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Maplewood Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-3. As for Mackinac Island, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
