Basketball Recap: Westover Wolverines vs. Terry Sanford Bulldogs
Westover suffered their biggest loss since February 4th on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-14 loss at the hands of the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wolverines' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.
Leading Terry Sanford to victory were Ameya Brown and Alani-Skye Wilkerson. Brown shot 60% from the field to rack up 14 points and four steals, while Wilkerson dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Thanks to that strong game, Brown now owns an excellent 47.1% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Zaniya Reddick, who posted four points and five assists.
Westover's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Terry Sanford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.
Westover and Gaston Christian will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
