            Softball Recap: Freeman Scotties vs. Northwest Christian School Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            With a playoff win on the line, Freeman rose to the challenge  on Friday. They walked away with  a   7-3  victory over the Northwest Christian School Crusaders. Winning may never get old, but the Scotties sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Kaylee Ripke was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Isabel Silva was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Chloe Adams was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  RBI.

Freeman pushed their record up to 21-2 with the  win, which was their tenth straight  at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.9 runs. As for Northwest Christian School, their loss  ended  a  nine-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 17-4.
As of now, neither Freeman nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
