Volleyball Recap: Kendra Brown Key Part of Team Effort in Huskies Win + How To Watch

Morgan won the last time they faced Portland and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Huskies put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9, 25-12.

Morgan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendra Brown, who had six aces and five digs. That's the most aces Brown has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Langner, who had nine digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Morgan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.

Morgan's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for Portland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Morgan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Cromwell on the 3rd. As for Portland, they will take on Valley Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
