Baseball Recap: Lee Williams Triumphs

Lee Williams won the last time they faced Mohave and things went their way on Thursday too. The Volunteers walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Thunderbirds. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Volunteers.

Lee Williams' win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Litos Rascon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those two hits gave Rascon a new career-high. Izaiah Orozco was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lee Williams' record now sits at 9-10. As for Mohave, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee Williams will welcome Bradshaw Mountain at 12:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Mohave, they will host Glendale at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
