Softball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern lost against Lanesville back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Musketeers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Eastern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sidney Patton, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lanesville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Coincidentally, Eastern and Lanesville will both be playing Charlestown the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Musketeers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
