Softball Recap: Arleta Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Arleta's offense. They came up short against the West Warriors on Saturday, falling 17-0. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Arleta's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for West, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Arleta will square off against Glendora at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tartans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Banning at 11:00 a.m. The Warriors' pitcher better be ready for this one: the Pilots have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
