Soccer Game Preview: Narrows vs. Eastern Montgomery

Narrows hasn't had much luck against Eastern Montgomery recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Green Waves will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Narrows will be strutting in after a win while Eastern Montgomery will be coming in after a loss.

Narrows is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Parry McCluer 7-1 on Tuesday. Jarrett Long was a massive factor in the win as he booted in five goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eastern Montgomery's offense. They lost 7-0 to Galax on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Eastern Montgomery can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Galax are ranked 19th).

Eastern Montgomery now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Narrows, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.
