Fishers faced Harrison in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 7-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won six contests in a row.

Not much got past Reid Garber, who gave up just a hit to keep Harrison off the board. Garber has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mayo Fernandez, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Huston Dunn was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Fishers hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Fishers' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Harrison, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

Coming up, Fishers will venture away from home to challenge Carmel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.7, the Greyhounds 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Harrison, they will challenge Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
