Softball Recap: Grand Forks Central Comes Up Short

Grand Forks Central lost against Fargo North back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 10-8.

Calleigh Carl made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Tande, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Grand Forks Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Fargo North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Grand Forks Central nor Fargo North have any future games scheduled.
