Football Recap: Faulkton Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Faulkton kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 34-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ipswich Tigers. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ipswich's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Faulkton will head out to face off against Herreid/Selby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ipswich, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Warner at 7:00 p.m.
