Volleyball Recap: Greybull Takes a Loss

Greybull lost against Wright back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Greybull saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Wyatt Whaley had four digs and two blocks. Whaley has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 20 times she's played. Shayne Cheatham was another key player, getting ten digs.

Greybull's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Wright, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Greybull didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Pine Bluffs on the 12th. As for Wright, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hot Springs County on the 12th.
