Volleyball Recap: Quitman County Comes Up Short

Quitman County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomasville Bulldogs. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-4.

Quitman County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Thomasville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Quitman County and Thomasville will both be playing Baker County the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
