Volleyball Recap: Mohave Accelerated Takes a Loss

Mohave Accelerated came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Griffins from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-8, 25-10.

Mohave Accelerated dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Mohave Accelerated will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trivium Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they will square off against Mountainside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
