Basketball Recap: DeLand-Weldon Takes a Loss

DeLand-Weldon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos and fell 62-16. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

DeLand-Weldon's record is now 1-11. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

DeLand-Weldon will head out on the road to face off against Edinburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
