Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

With a playoff win on the line, Syracuse rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mountain Ridge Sentinels. The Titans were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Sentinels, so the Titans were just returning the favor.

Brinley Barkdull paced Syracuse's offense, picking up ten kills. Barkdull got some help from Miyah Lish and her 19 assists. Avery Eriksen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Syracuse is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. As for Mountain Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 27-5.

As of now, neither Syracuse nor the Sentinels have any future games scheduled.
