Volleyball Recap: Mcguffey Starts Season with Win Against Jefferson-Morgan

McGuffey gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won three in a row.

McGuffey walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-5.

This is the second loss in a row for Jefferson-Morgan and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, McGuffey will head out on the road to take on West Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson-Morgan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against California at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
