After a string of six wins, Norwich's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 39-27 to the Attica Bulldogs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Zoie Redgate was her usual excellent self, putting up 18 points and four steals for Attica. Redgate is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 36 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Cady Hemphill, who posted seven points and 11 boards.

Norwich's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Attica, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwich will square off against Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Central Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Attica has already played their next match (against South Barber), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
