Soccer Game Preview: Liberty-Eylau vs. Pittsburg

Liberty-Eylau is 0-10 against Pittsburg since March of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Liberty-Eylau Leopards are taking a road trip to challenge the Pittsburg Pirates at 5:00 p.m.

Liberty-Eylau is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to Sulphur Springs. That's two games in a row now that the Leopards have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, Pittsburg came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.6 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Pleasant Grove with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ethan Delacruz (2), Uriel Netro, and Alan Ramirez.

Pittsburg pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Liberty-Eylau, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Liberty-Eylau suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Pittsburg in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Liberty-Eylau avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
