Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Easton Sant and Zane Gillhouse Lead Hellgate to Victory

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Hellgate ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Sentinel Spartans out 57-55. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Leading Hellgate to victory were Zane Gillhouse and Easton Sant. Gillhouse went 5 for 11 en route to 17 points, while Sant went 6 of 13 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Spencer Wayland, who posted eight points and seven boards.

Hellgate's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Sentinel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Hellgate will square off against Glacier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hellgate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season. As for Sentinel, they will challenge Flathead at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Flathead also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 60.7 points per game.
