Baseball Recap: Webber Has No Trouble Against Grayville

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cisne, Webber was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Grayville Bison 12-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their one-run performance the match before.

Raymond Andrews made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

In other batting news, Walker Sherwin was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Zhayne Belmont, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Webber now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Grayville, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.
