Basketball Game Preview: Beech Grove Hornets vs. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans

Beech Grove is 0-4 against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard since January of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Beech Grove Hornets will face off against the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Beech Grove lost to Tri-West Hendricks on the road by a 63-45 margin.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Bloomington South and fell 83-56. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Panthers are ranked 78th).

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Beech Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Beech Grove ended up a good deal behind Indianapolis Bishop Chatard in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, losing 59-43. Can Beech Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
