The Meade Mustangs will challenge the Severn Run Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meade knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 contests -- so hopefully Severn Run likes a good challenge.

Meade found their leader in sophomore Keon Scott, who posted 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Turman, who earned 13 points.

Meanwhile, Severn Run ended up a good deal behind Broadneck on Wednesday and lost 66-52. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meade will have to keep a close watch on Darrelle Adofo and Jayden Gonzalez, a pair of players who had a big impact on Severn Run's prior game. Adofo went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points and eight assists, while Gonzalez put up nine points and six rebounds. Those eight assists gave Adofo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Xander Johnson, who scored nine points.

Even though they lost, Severn Run was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. This was only their 12th loss (out of 16 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

Meade's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. As for Severn Run, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.
