Basketball Recap: Huntington Park Takes a Loss

Huntington Park lost against Roosevelt back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huntington Park Spartans lost to the Roosevelt Rough Riders on the road by a 58-44 margin. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huntington Park's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntington Park will head out to challenge Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roosevelt, they are taking a road trip to face off against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Garfield comes in on six and Roosevelt on three.
