Soccer Game Preview: University vs. West Side

The University Phoenix will head out on the road to face off against the West Side Roughriders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

University lost 7-1 to North Star Academy on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that University have lost by exactly six goals.

Meanwhile, West Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Orange Campus.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Side, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

University might still be hurting after the 10-2 defeat they got from West Side when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Phoenix avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
