Basketball Recap: Stewart County Has No Trouble Against Mitchell County

Stewart County hadn't done well against Mitchell County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Stewart County Royal Knights blew past the Mitchell County Eagles 67-41. This was a revenge game for the Royal Knights : when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 54-48 loss.

Mitchell County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sariyah Chester, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 11 points, and Tytionna Draggs, who posted six points along with ten boards and four steals.
