Soccer Recap: Bastrop Comes Up Short

Bastrop was the 2-1 winner over Cedar Creek when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Bastrop Bears fell just short of the Cedar Creek Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Bastrop has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Cedar Creek and bumps their season record up to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Bastrop will head out to square off against Navarro at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cedar Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Anderson at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Cedar Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
