Vanden came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the River City Raiders by a score of 7-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 33-12 back in September.

Vanden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amoura Hutton, who threw for 205 yards and one touchdown. The Vikings' leading receiver Cadie Holloway was Hutton's top target yet again, picking up 74 receiving yards and one TD.

Vanden didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Madison Franks and Kenna Holloway. Franks is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last eight games she's played. Another thorn in River City's side was Tatiana Llopis, who picked up five sacks and made six total tackles.

Vanden's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for River City, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Vanden wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 33-0 loss against Vacaville on the 13th. As for River City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-6 victory against Rodriguez on the 13th.
