Basketball Recap: Park Comes Up Short

Park lost against Cretin-Derham Hall back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Park Wolfpack were outmatched by the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders and fell 95-64.

Tommy Ahneman was nothing short of spectacular for Cretin-Derham Hall: he dropped a double-double on 27 points and 14 boards. Ahneman is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joe Mitchell, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten assists.

Park now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-64 defeat against Stillwater on the 13th. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 98-70 victory against Irondale on the 13th.
