Camden Central has gone 6-1 against Milan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Camden Central comes in on three and Milan on five.

Camden Central's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past McKenzie 8-0. That looming 8-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Meanwhile, Milan made easy work of Bolivar Central on Tuesday and carried off a 13-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Camryn Green and Rylee Hensley did most of the damage at the plate: Green got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Hensley went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Hensley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maycee Masters, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Milan lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Milan's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Camden Central, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Camden Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Milan in their previous meeting back in March, winning 6-1. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
