Soccer Recap: Cypress Lakes Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cypress Lakes can now relate to. They fell just short of the Magnolia Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cypress Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-2. As for Magnolia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Cypress Lakes nor Magnolia have any future games scheduled.
