Barnesville won the last time they faced Bellaire and things went their way  on Monday too. The Shamrocks put the hurt on the Big Reds with a sharp  3-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Shamrocks.
 One reason for the win was Barnesville's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14,  25-10.
 Caydence Stephen paced Barnesville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stephen got some help from  Londyn Gibson and her 18 assists.  Aiva Leasure and  Alivia Smolira kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
Barnesville's  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for Bellaire, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the  defeat, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Looking ahead, Barnesville will head out to  face off against Martins Ferry  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bellaire has  already played their next  match (against Cambridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
