Softball Recap: White Hall Snags 11th Win in Last 14 Games

It's playoff time, and White Hall had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Valley View Blazers 7-6. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 12-0 victory the Blazers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2019.

White Hall's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Maycey Langston, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

White Hall is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Valley View, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.

White Hall has already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Benton on the 16th. Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
