Basketball Recap: Alfred-Almond Takes a Loss

Alfred-Almond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 102-39 defeat at the hands of the Andover Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-28 back in January.

Alfred-Almond's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Andover, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alfred-Almond will head out to challenge Mount Morris at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Andover, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Andover Panthers duke it out with the Hinsdale Central Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th.
