Meanwhile, Portsmouth won against Cranston East on Tuesday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Portsmouth managed a 61-56 victory over Tolman. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots who have now won three contests in a row.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Portsmouth, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.
