It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lester Prairie Bulldogs 8-7. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kelsey Ulrich was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two triples, two stolen bases, and two runs. Those triples were her first of the season. Elizabeth Ovitt was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one RBI.

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Lester Prairie, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Coming up, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will head out to take on St. Mary's at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lester Prairie, they will welcome New Ulm Cathedral at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
