On Tuesday, Dougherty needed a bit of extra time to put away Crisp County. They snuck past the Cougars with a 76-72 win. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Colquitt County won against Thomasville last Friday with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Packers came out on top against Bainbridge by a score of 54-45.

Colquitt County's record now sits at 2-4. As for Dougherty, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Dougherty beat Colquitt County 50-42 in their previous meeting back in November. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
