KACHEA won the last time they faced Cornerstone Christian Academy and Bear VonAchen did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats blew past the Lions 77-57 on Friday thanks in part to VonAchen, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. KACHEA is 2-1 when VonAchen posts ten or more rebounds, but 4-9 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Joyner, who posted eight points and five boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Roop, who had 17 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Smith, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

KACHEA's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

KACHEA has already played their next contest, a 59-36 win against Cedar View Christian on the 13th. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Rural Retreat at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
