Yucaipa won the last time they faced Citrus Valley and Tana Mead did her part to make sure it happened again. The Thunderbirds put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Mead, who had ten assists and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Citrus Valley still got an impressive performance from Sophia Swogger, who had 15 digs and two aces. Vanessa Stallone also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Yucaipa is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-15 record this season. As for Citrus Valley, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
