Volleyball Recap: Pawnee Takes a Loss

Pawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Calvary Saints. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Saints when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pawnee started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-10.

Pawnee's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Calvary, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Pawnee will face off against Hillsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Calvary, they will challenge Edinburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
