Basketball Recap: Luling Triumphs

Luling won the last time they faced Karnes City and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with a 49-39 win over the Badgers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Despite the loss, Karnes City still got an impressive performance from Savion Nixon-Thompson, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Nixon-Thompson is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Guerra, who posted five points and eight rebounds.
