Volleyball Game Preview: Cimarron-Memorial Spartans vs. Bonanza Bengals

Cimarron-Memorial and Bonanza are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Spartans will be playing at home against the Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

If Southeast Career Tech wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cimarron-Memorial, they should've done a better job of containing Kiera Kauhi. The Spartans blew past the Roadrunners 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Kauhi, who had 25 assists and three digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Bonanza waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-19.

Cimarron-Memorial's win bumped their record up to 19-15. As for Bonanza, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Everything went Cimarron-Memorial's way against Bonanza in their previous meeting back in September, as Cimarron-Memorial made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bengals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
